教学内容：第一课时 story time

教学目标：1.The students can read the story:

    2.The students can understand the story.

    3.The students can talk about their dreams with"what do you want to be?""i want to   be a/ an..., because ..." 

教学重难点：

 重点：学生对于课文的理解。

 难点：在理解课文的基础上，用课文句型谈论梦想。

教学过程：

Step 1: Warming up

出示U7 Cartoon time图片

T:What does Bobby want to be in the future? 新授future

S:He wants to be a traveller.

T:That’s his dream.  新授dream

T: Why does Bobby have this dream?

S: Because he wants to travel around the world.

T: Yes, we all have our dreams.

Today we’ll learn Unit8 Our dreams.(揭题)

Step 2: Presentation

1.Play a game: Link link.

Read the words loudly and find his friend as quickly as possible!

2.. Storytime

a.出示课文图片

T:What are they talking about? 

Ss:They are talking about their dreams.(读前言)

b. T:Do you want to know their dreams?

(1) First, listen, look,and circle the words about the dream.

(听课文，在书中找到关于梦想的词)

（2）Next, match and say : Liu Tao wants to be a ...

（3）Check (过程中学习生词：an astronaut, a dentist, 

a pianist )

c. T: We know their dreams, do you know why they have

these dreams?(出示表格)，请学生再读课文，将梦想

的原因划下来。

新授fly a spaceship to the Moon，play in the World Cup，care about.

We know the children’s dreams, do you know Miss  Li’s dream? 新授 (come true)

Step4: Consolidation

1.完成书P80  Think and write 。

2.share time

(1)T:Do you have a dream? Why?(请学生说一说)

T: to make your dream come true, what will you do?

Give you some suggestions:do more sport, study hard...

(2)share your dreams in the group.

(3).Make a card

制作心愿卡片《My dream》，上台演讲并贴在心愿树上。

(4).Share a sentence

Your life is a boat, the dream is the boat sail.

Step5: Homework: 

1. Listen to the tape and read the text three times.

2. Talk about your dreams with your friends and parents.
