Step1: Warm up

1. Name

T: Hello, boys and girls. I'm your new English teacher today. I'm Miss Lu. Let's begin our class.

S: Stand up.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

S: ...

T: Sit down, please.

2. Free talk

T: I'm Miss Lu, may I know your name?

找一个孩子

T: Good morning, I'm Miss Lu. What's your name?

S1: ...

T: Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you, too.

T: You can talk in English. That's perfect.

Step2: Talk Show

1. Throw, catch and say

T: Boys and girls, we're having the English class in this classroom. It is new  for me. Lets talk about the things in the classroom. (PPT)

Look around and tell me. You can say pencil case, desk and balabala.

(Take out the toy puppy.)

T: Please catch and say loudly. I'll make a start. Floor.

只要说到了个人文具就问:

T: Where is your …?

S: It’s …

T: Is this your…?

S: Yes/No.

2. Annas room

T: Boys and girls, look at this picture, please. What’s in this room? Practise in 2.

2. Open the book

T: Are you right? Let’s check. Open your English book, please. Turn to page 30. Please read four sentences.

T: Which one is right? Where’s Anna’s puppy?

S: It is behind the door.

T: Yes, you’re right. Please tick in the book.

Step4: Make the puppy

1.    Wheres my puppy?

T: Anna has a puppy. You have puppies, too. I ask you to make the puppies like this at home. First, cut all the parts down. Then, use the string. I made a puppy like this. (PPT点击出现再消失)

T: Where is my puppy? It is in this classroom.

S: … 学生怎么猜都让他们自己去证明和实践

T: Give it to me, please. How to say?

S: Is this your …?

T: Yes, it is.

2.    Introduce the puppy 2

T: This is my puppy, Lulu. Lulu is a girl. Now, please introduce your puppy.

3. Colour

T: I know your puppy’s names, but they are all black and white. Let’s make it more beautifully.

PPT: First, choose the colour. Lulu is a girl, so, I choose pink and yellow.

Second, colour it quickly.

4.    Introduce the puppy 3

T: Ok, boys and girls, look at my puppy. Good morning. This is my puppy Lulu. Lulu is a girl. Lulu is pink and yellow. She is my friend.

How about your puppies? Work in pairs.

T: Wow, our puppies are so colorful. I think puppies are clever, too. What do puppies do? (PPT)

2.    Watch and say

T: Look at this puppy, Bolt, it is a super puppy. What can he do? Let’s watch and say. Please shout when you find out the actions. 边看边大声喊出动作类单词

分类板书在黑板上,当孩子说出一个单词的时候,老师在旁把词组补充完整。

3.   Make phrases 组词时渗透don’t

4.    Say a rhyme

Now, let’s say a rhyme with the actions.

Run, run, run,

Run on the floor.

Sit, sit, sit,

Sit beside the doll.

Eat, eat, eat,

Don’t eat the ball.

Close, close, close

Don’t close the door.

5.    Puppy’s action show

T: Bolt can do a lot of things, my puppy can do it, too.

Look. Run on the desk, Lulu. (做睡觉状)Don’t sleep on the desk, Lulu.

Who can give orders to Lulu? 

S x3 我帮助Lulu叫两声(高兴的和不高兴的叫声)

I: I would like to order your puppy. Who wants to show your puppy?

Open your English book. 拿起一个汉堡Don’t eat the hamburger.

T: OK, now, look at the rules.

PPT要求:

  1. Order your partner’s puppy
  2. Act as your own puppy
  3. At least 2 orders.

Step7: Summary

T: If we would like to show our puppies well, we can do like this:

指着板书总结

First, find out your own puppy.

Then, introduce your puppy.

At last, show your puppy.

Step8Puppy show x4

T: Look at these scenes: in the classroom, in the park, at the puppy’s birthday. Pick up a scene and make a dialogue.
