Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warming up

T: Welcome back to school, class./ Good morning./Good afternoon.

Nice to see you.

Ss: Thank you./ Good morning./Good afternoon./Nice to see you, too.

Step 2 Presentation

T: Welcome to my English lesson. It's time for English. English is a subject. Do you like English?

Ss: Yes, I do. /No, I don't.

T: Why?

Ss: Because it's fun./ I like English stories…

T: I see.

T teach: It's time for… It's fun. subject

T: What subjects do you like?

Ss: I like…

T: Me too. (Teach Chinese, Maths, Music…)

T: Look, this is our timetable. Do you like…?(列出学生没有说出的剩下的课程和拓展的一些课程。)

Ss practice in pairs: What subjects do you like? I like… 

T teach: timetable

T: How about Yang Ling and her friends? Can you ask some questions about them?

Ss: What subjects does … like? Does … like…?

T: Let's watch the cartoon and try to answer the questions.

Ss watch the cartoon and answer.

Ss read the story after the tape.
