Step 2 Presentation 

1. T: Look, it is New Year. Someone is visiting Mike’s family. Who is he? Do you know? (学生观看卡通。)

S: Uncle John.

(教授Uncle John并把头像贴在黑板上。)

2. T: Uncle comes to visit Mike’s family today.

What presents does he give? Let’s watch the cartoon.

(教授单词ball, robot, doll并把图片贴在黑板上。)

3. T: Who are they for? Please read the story by yourselves.

T: Who can match the presents with the children?请学生到黑板前连一连

T: Now, let’s try to act. If you are Uncle John, please try to say ‘This is for you.’ (板书并带全班读句子 This is for you.)

4. T: Now, let’s learn the story. Please listen and repeat.

(1)读到第三幅图How nice.的时候。

T: When you get a present. Remember to open the box immediately and say ‘Wow thank you’, ‘How nice.’  and something else. OK?

S: OK.

T: But what else can we say S: .. (教师及时板书相关语句。)

T: Well. These are what we can say when we get presents.

(4)读到第六幅图时教授It’s a robot. It’s for Tim.

Step 3 Consolidation

1. T: Now please try to read the story fluently. You can read in roles. Or act out the story without the help of your English book.

(学生小组读课文。)

1. Listen and read this story after class, pay attention to imitate the intonation.

2. Try to collect some more holiday greetings, such as Merry Christmas!

3. Make a new year present for your mum and dad, remember to give the presents in English.

1. T: There’s a cartoon in the VCD. Let’s watch it !  OK?

After watching it, think about a title for it.

2. T: Yes. It’s Bobby’s birthday. What can we say to Bobby? What can you say when you want to give the presents? What can you say when someone gets a present? Watch again. And think about these questions.

Step 4 Consolidation

T: Oh, you all did a good job! On Bobby’s birthday, Sam gives Bobby a big surprise. Look, it’s Sam’s birthday. What will Bobby give Sam? What happened in the birthday party? Act in groups.

Step 5 Homework

1.Play the guessing game with your classmates  .和同学一起玩猜词的游戏。

2. Make a new cartoon with your partner.  和伙伴一起创编新的卡通。

3. Preview sound time and song time. 预习语音和歌曲板块。

Step 3 Checkout time

1. Look and say

a. 观察插图,说说图中的物品名称。

b. 引导学生形容一下所看到的物品,参考句型:

2 Listen and choose

a. 引导学生在听录音之前做好准备工作。

b. 听录音选择。

c. 核对答案。

Step 4 Letter time

1. 在PPT上呈现Happy Birthday, Bobby! ( 教读字母Y)

2. 引导学生找出课文插图中另外的2个字母。

3. 引导学生观察老师的口型,认真模仿跟读。

4. 通过自主学习和老师的引领,学会这三个字母的正确书写方式:

大写字母X占中上格,两笔完成;小写字母x占中间一格,两笔完成。大写字母Y占中上格,两笔完成;小写字母y占中下格,一笔完成。大写字母Z占中上格,一笔完成;小写字母z占中间一格,一笔完成。

5. 学生正确临摹X,Y, Z的大小写。

采用口诀的形式帮助学生记忆:

大X像叉画本上,小x剪刀裁衣忙。大Y弹弓没皮筋,小y比v多尾巴。大Z和2最相像,小z呼噜声最响。

Step 5 Ticking time

1. 总结本课学习的单词和句型。

2. Ticking time,在教师的引导下,根据个人实际情况为自己打分。

Step 6 Homework

1. 熟背本课的课文及单词。

2. 抄写letter time中字母X,Y,Z的大小写。
